Farecla Profile 100 Extra Coarse Heavy Cut Paste Compound, PRE306, 6

Product Description:

Farecla Profile 350 Premium Liquid GRP Fast Medium Liquid Compound, 1 Gallon, (PRL118 / 64005) (formerly Profile Premium Liquid Compound, PRL101), is a high-performance water-based cutting compound which quickly and permanently removes 1,500 grit or finer sanding marks from production GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic - gel coat / fiberglass / composite materials) and painted finishes.

Farecla Profile 350 is the perfect solution for restoring oxidized and weathered gel coat surfaces and leaves an excellent high gloss. Works great on both light and dark colors delivering a high gloss finish.

Farecla Profile 350 is used as a 1-step product on white surfaces and as the first stage of a 2-part compounding process on darker colors (follow with Farecla Profile 700 Finish) where higher gloss and lower swirl is required.

May be used with a variety of different pads depending on desired finish. Use with a small amount of material and a twisted wool cutting pad (Farecla 4-Ply Twisted Wool Grip Pad) will offer faster cut, a lambswool pad (Farecla Lambswool Grip Pad) for less aggressive cut yet higher gloss or yellow foam pad (Farecla Yellow Foam Compounding Grip Pad) for a very high gloss).

If desired, follow with a finer polish (e.g. Farecla Profile 700 Finish) to yield an even higher gloss level and quality wax (e.g. Farecla Profile Polymer Wax) to protect surface.

Water-based formula contains no silicone or fillers and is very low VOC which means no haze-back, easy clean up, extended buff pad life, is safer for people and better for the environment.

Features and Benefits:

  • Designed for gel coats, painted surfaces and solid surfaces
  • Rapidly eliminates P1500 grit scratches from gelcoat
  • Very effective on dark gel coat surfaces

  • Water-based formula contains no fillers and very low VOC which means no haze-back, easy clean up, extended buff pad life, safer to use and better for the environment
  • Reduced heat buildup, stays wet longer
  • Contains no silicone (paint shop friendly)
  • Time & Money Saved - Quicker application and much less product required versus other leading brands, so goes much farther saving money in the long run

Science Behind the Technology:

How do Farecla compounds restore & leave deep gloss in 1-step?

Based on diminishing abrasive technology, this is a true "one-step" application for surface restoration and providing superior gloss in comparison to any other product available. Farecla compounds are loaded with 50% more abrasive material than the closest competition for faster working time and requiring much less material.

Farecla Abrasive Particle Size vs. Polishing Time

As the compounding process begins, these particles collide with the paint surface, cutting away at the ridges caused by sanding marks and other defects. It’s at this stage that the Farecla Profile superior emulsion system comes into play, optimizing the rate at which each particle breaks down, from the jagged rocks needed for the cutting & surface restoring phase, to smooth, marble-like spheres for polishing phase.

Directions for Use:

Only if needed, before polishing, sand up to:

  • P1500 or finer (Paint or lacquer)
  • P2000 or finer (Aerospace paint or lacquer)
  • P1200 or finer (Polyester resin or gelcoat)
  • P1500 or finer (Vinylester resin or gelcoat)
  • P1500 or finer (Epoxy resin or gelcoat)

  • Ensure surface is clean, dry and cool to the touch
  • Shake bottle well before use
  • Apply a small amount of product to the applicator
  • Spread over the surface and polish (speed depends on applicator used)
  • Work in small areas at a time, keeping the applicator flat to the surface
  • Wipe clean and repeat if necessary
